Khaplu also spelt Khapalu,is a city that serves as the administrative capital of the Ghanche District of Gilgit-Baltistan, in northern Pakistan. Located, 103 km (64 mi) east of the city of Skardu, it was the second-largest kingdom in old Baltistan of the Yabgo dynasty. It guarded the old trade route to Ladakh along the Shyok River east of its confluence with the Indus.
Khaplu is a base for trekking into the Hushe valley which leads to the high peaks of Masherbrum, K6, K7, and Chogolisa. Khaplu has a 700-year-old mosque, Chaqchan, founded by Ameer Kabeer Syed Ali Hamadani (RA). Other tourist sites include Ehlie broq, Hanjor, ThoqsiKhar, Kaldaq, and Shyok River views.
Barah Valley is a village in Gilgit Baltistan. Barah Valley is 100 km from Skardu in the east. The valley is located on the bank of Shyok river in the Khaplu, (Ghanche District) of Baltistan.
Barah valley is not only famous for its natural herbs and dry fruits but also, make a surprise due to its delightful and charming aesthetic viewpoints.
Manthokha Water Fall, Deaosai plains, Rama meadow & Lake, Heaven’s gate meadows, Fairy Meadows & Babusur Top are few other exotic sites in the Karakorum and Himalayas ranges

TOUR BOOKING
In order to confirm your booking, you must deposit 50% of your total tour cost into our account at the time of making the booking. Kindly provide a copy of passport including visa page as well as diplomatic ID card (if applicable) at the time of making your booking. Remaining 50% tour cost must be paid one month in advance of the tour starting date. This deposit will be subject to the standard cancellation charges in case you cancel your booking or change the dates of your tour.
